My story

I have often wondered why it takes a small earth quake for us to wake up and see what matters in life. I have interviewed many people for my podcast, and they often share the exact same thing. They had to experience some kind of life changing event in order for them to realize they were on the wrong path.

I used to work as a geophysicist for the oil industry. Until everything crashed in 2015. After realizing that there were bigger issues in the world than my unemployment, I started searching for the path where I could make a change.

During my search I met many interesting people, found many fascinating topics, and all the time I got more curious and excited about all the changes we will have to make going forward.

As individuals and as a society.

How do we create the good lives that we all long for? How do we find excitement and joy in the work we do. And how do we use the superpowers we all have in the best possible way to solve the most pressing challenges on the planet?

For me the key to all these questions has been to awaken my sense of curiosity and wonder. One of my favorite activities is to dive into new areas of knowledge. I just love to learn.

And when there is a direct link between what I learn and how I can use that knowledge to solve a problem, I couldn’t be happier!

I want as many people as possible to discover the joy in staying curious and having a learning mindset. Allow yourself to be a beginner. Test out new paths and do not be afraid to fail. Choosing the wrong path is also a part of the journey. And life gets so much more interesting that way.
